Surf
The Kabalana beach is ideal for beginners. Various local surf schools help our guests with their first attempts at surfing in white water. The nearby beach is, in the season from November to April, also suitable for sunbathing, swimming and enjoying. Sunbeds, umbrellas and restaurants on the beach are rather simple.
For demanding and experienced surfers, the south side of Kabalana Beach is ideal for surfing all year round. At the moment there are no lifeguards stationed there.

You can only enter Galle Fort from the main gate side. From there, explore the shopping streets, churches, and the fort’s history. It takes about two hours to walk around the whole fort. To avoid busy streets, make sure to visit Galle Fort in the morning. Still, we like to recommend an afternoon walk so you aren’t going to miss the sunset.»
